In case you missed it, here is the latest opinion research conducted by the Merdeka Centre and ACG adviser Ibrahim Suffian. Some very interesting insights into the sentiments of Malaysians, with the survey showing 69% of voters satisfied with the performance of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as the Prime Minister. 51% of Malaysians felt that the country is going in the right direction, significantly up from the period between July 2019 and February 2020 when only a quarter of respondents felt the country was moving in the right direction.

The state of the economy and COVID-19 remain the top issues of concern for Malaysians with 93% of respondents satisfied with the Government’s handling of COVID-19.

This is one of the first comprehensive surveys conducted under the new Government since March.
